A Proud History of Culinary Kinship

First established in 1248, la Chaîne des Rotisseurs is the longest-standing dining guild in the world. For almost 70 years, la Chaîne has celebrated unforgettable food, wine, hospitality and friendship in the spirit of the evolution of gastronomy.

The Canadian Chapter was inaugurated in Montreal in 1960 with additional Chapters now established in 11 additional cities including Victoria, Vancouver, Okanagan Valley, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City, Saint John and Halifax (Click here fo contact information for any of our local Chapters). The Canadian Chapter continues to grow and expects to soon open new Chapters in parts of the country not currently served.

Looking Forward to New Culinary Experiences!

The members of the Chaine in Canada experience culinary creations from Canada’s most established, and up-and-coming, chefs through dynamic fine dining, galas, tastings and less formal events. They support the evolution of young Canadian chef and sommelier talent with enthralling competitions. For our culinary professional members, la Chaîne offers an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and creativity to an appreciative audience while engaging with other professional members who bring forth boundless culinary experience and knowledge.
